Random Act Of Kindness Cards

I have received a lot of RAK cards from all over the world. I think it's time for me to make and send some out. It is completely random. It's very nice to receive a card from someone who wants to say hi and makes you smile especially after a long day.

These are the cards I sent out. I can't believe these DPS are retired soon. I love them. You might want to send some out too!

Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop

Welcome to our first Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop. It's my honor to be invited to join this monthly Design Team Blog Hop. This month we will be sharing projects inspired by 'Celebrate'.

For this project I have used the new Oh So Eclectic stamp set with new 2017-19 in colours. You probably can't tell from the photo that I have used three different colouring techiques on the three flowers - daubers, blender pen and aqua painter. I am a big fan of the Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies. It's very delicate and high quality dies. It looks perfect as a background.

Thank you so much for joining us today. We hope you'll join us again next month to see our NEW 2017-18 Catalogue projects. I am Vanessa Choi and keep hoping around see the list below to see who is up next.

Stampin Dreams Blog Hop

Welcome to the first Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop! This hop will run monthly. You are currently visiting Vanessa Choi from Australia. I hope you enjoy my card showcasing Retiring Products from the 2016 Annual or 2017 Occasions Catalogues.

This is a perfect timing for this hop. I need to make a Father's Day card for my father and father-in-laws. Yes it is is a bit early in Australia. However Father's Day is on 3rd week of June in Hong Kong. Taking into account of shipping, it's about time to make one....two.

I have used different combination here and all are from the retiring products from 2016 Annual or 2017 Occasions Catalogues. I think this one is more like a neutral card which is good for a male.

I hope the projects you've seen here on my blog today have inspired you & brightened your day. You are currently visiting Vanessa Choi. Please see the list below & hop through all of the people on the list to see all our projects. You don't want to miss any!

Paper Sharing from the New Annual Catalogue

I mentioned this in one of my YouTube video that I will be doing paper share this year for the new catalogue.  In fact, if you were to buy all 15 sets of Designer Series Paper, it would cost over $300!

If you’re not sure what a share is – it’s like going 1/4s in everything, so you’re only paying a fraction of the price. This is definitely a great bargain. You get to play with all paper from the new 2017-18 catalogue!

Each Paper Share includes :

·  15 packs of Designer Series Paper are included in the share (1 set is not shown in the image)

·  Some sheets are at 6x12 and some are at 6x6

·  Each pack will be packaged in cellophane bags and clearly identified with the name.

·  Each paper share will be shipped to you and is included in the price.

Please note: I need to have at least 3 people to join in order to make this paper share works.  If you are interested, please fill out the form here and payment will be needed by 11 June. You'll receive the paper by end of June. Demonstrators in Australia are welcome to join.

Swap Card Using New Products from Annual Catalogue

I have participated in another card swap with the team on new products from the new annual catalogue.  I can then get new ideas from different demonstrators and share them with you. Every one has their own style and it's good to see how different cards can be made even using the same stamp set.

Here is my take using the new Birthday Delivery Bundle. I get 10% off when purchase the stamp set and framelits together.

The cake is actually from the matching Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper. I bought 2 DPS packs because I know I will use one pack just to cut out the images. Not sure what i mean? If you look closer to my picture above, the cake is cut out directly from the paper using matching framelits. I have stamped the chef and colouring in using the watercolor pencils. I have also added clear glitter on top of the sentiment! :)

I love this stamp set. I think this is a very cute card. It can be given to kids or men!
